Series of events at the opening of the Lèm dì dị workshop

The series of events includes two workshop sessions from May 14-15, 2023, at three locations scattered throughout the city, from Dam Market to Co Tien Mountain, featuring diverse works in terms of practice and materials, including Performance, Ca Tru (traditional Vietnamese singing), Installation, Video, Handcraft, and Water Puppet. The creation process of these works reflects the unique interaction between the physical body and elements in the natural environment and human beings, encompassing community history, personal memory, and collective memory in the very places where the artists were born and raised. In the spirit of learning through play, the works are largely presented in an ongoing state, like an unfinished conversation, a fluid flow that sparks new dialogues and simultaneous connections from the audience themselves.
